Erin Braun - Back Office Coordinator/Medical Assistant/Surgery Scheduler
Erin Braun graduated from ThunderRidge High School in 2009, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Wanting to pursue a career in the medical field, she decided to attend Anthem College in Aurora, Colorado. She graduated as a Medical Assistant, Alpha Beta Kappa with high honors.
As the medical assistant and surgery scheduler of Dr. Herzog, Erin is pleased to know every patient at Castle Rock Foot and Ankle Care. Her passion for her work can be seen in her ability to recall each patient’s needs and in her innate desire to go above and beyond to see those needs met. Having been with the practice since 2011, Erin has an extensive knowledge base that allows her to extend the best possible care. Her compassionate personality puts our patients at ease, welcoming both existing and new people into our office every day. She is a vital asset to our team, benefiting patients and coworkers alike.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys being outside and staying healthy with her husband, Hank, and son, Remington. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her family and trying new food. She loves what Colorado has to offer and is going to keep the state her permanent home.
Anita Wallace - Medical Biller & Coder
Anita Wallace started her medical billing career in the lab industry and moved on to primary care and specialty practices. She has had the opportunity to learn the daily operations of all billing functions. She is committed to prioritizing the needs of our patients above all else. She sees every problem as an opportunity to make a positive change. Changes in healthcare throughout the years have made her knowledge extensive of the medical billing process.
Anita was raised in Englewood, CO and graduated from Englewood High. She has worked in the Douglas County community since 1997, and she he has resided in Elbert County for 25 years. Anita and her husband have a blended family of 6 children, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She loves her country style life in Elbert county, and she enjoys spending time with family most of all. Her hobbies include crocheting and gardening during the warm seasons of wonderful Colorado.
Kathy Hancock - Front Office
Kathy Hancock retired from 30 years of teaching in May of 2019, and she still wanted to help others in any way she could. Being able to help patients have a pleasant experience in our office is one way of fulfilling that desire. Having dealt with foot issues herself, she understands how patients might be feeling and can hopefully lend support while they are going through their own procedures.
Kathy works in the Front Office of Castle Rock Foot & Ankle Care and brings enthusiasm and positivity into conversation with all of our patients. She is diligent about making sure each patient experience is as punctual, thorough and as seamless as possible. We are excited to have Kathy as part of our team.
As a native of Colorado, Kathy graduated from Columbine High School and then from the University of Northern Colorado. She loves being outside, traveling and experiencing new places. She and her husband, Ron, really enjoy watching their son, Cody, show horses. He is an assistant reining trainer and has ridden most of his life. She also spends her free time reading, crafting and playing with her dogs.
Shay Matthews - Medical Assistant / Surgery Scheduler / Licensed Nail Care Specialist
Shay Matthews graduated from Cascade High School in Cascade, Montana. She is a Montana native but has been in Colorado for 12 years. After high school she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field and attended Anthem college in Aurora, CO; she graduated in 2010 as a Medical Assistant. After finishing school, she worked with the elderly in assisted and retirement communities for 5 years.
As the medical assistant to Dr. Stone, Shay brings an amazing amount of energy to work and loves to apply this to our patients. She takes pride in providing exceptional continuity of care and in her organization in the clinic. Shay will always put patients first and helps all patients feel at ease while in the office at their appointments.
Shay and her husband have two daughters, Lilah and Alena, and they enjoy spending time with them outside of work. She loves visiting her family in Montana and exploring all the great things Colorado has to offer. She enjoys camping, hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling with her family.
Brenda Young-Weber - Medical Biller / Coder / Credentialing
Brenda Young-Weber graduated from Elizabeth High School in 2002, in Elizabeth, Colorado. She worked in retail as a Manager for 8 years and Emergency Dispatching for 3 years before going to work at a bank for 6 years. She missed being in the medical field and went back to school for Medical Billing and Coding in 2018 and completed her certificate in 2019.
As a medical biller for Castle Rock Foot & Ankle Care, Brenda applies her previous banking experience to the financial side of the practice; her superb attention to detail with numbers/keeping data up to date allows charts to stay extremely accurate. In addition, she is able to also tie in her medical background in order to perfect the medical coding portion of her job. Her diligence in completing tasks and excellent customer service with our patients, makes patients feel comfortable discussing their bills and invoices they receive.
Brenda and her husband have one daughter, Sierra, three step children, Caroline, Tyler and Noah and a pug, Rose. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She loves hiking, camping, Nascar and football.
Summer Gallamore - Medical Assistant / Front Office
Summer Gallamore graduated from Arapahoe High School in 2007 and following graduation she worked retail at King Soopers for 7 years as a chef and assistant manager. During this time, she also took business management course and developed an interest in healthcare. She earned her CNA license in 2014 and used her degree to work as a care manager and administer medication to patients.
As the medical assistant and surgery scheduler to Dr. Carrington, Summer does a phenomenal job with providing genuine care to our patients. She consistently offers a warm smiling face and attentive nature with her interactions with patients. She also learns things very quickly and is a great resource to our patients during the surgery scheduling and postoperative course.
Summer enjoys her time outside of the office with hiking, traveling, swimming and cooking.
