Jessica L. Herzog, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Herzog received her undergraduate degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, with a B.A. of Zoology. While attending the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois, she received a B.S. of Biological Sciences. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from The Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Herzog successfully completed her 3-year foot and ankle surgical residency at the Highlands/Presbyterian St. Luke's program in Denver, Colorado. She is a Board Certified Foot & Ankle Surgeon through the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Herzog is originally from Ohio and enjoys being part of the involved local community similar to her upbringing. She values the times when she can embrace the opportunities to run, mountain and road bike, hike, play tennis and spend time at her home in Castle Rock with her husband, Ryan. As a fellow small business owner of POMR (Path of Most Resistance), an elite strength and conditioning/life coaching business, they appreciate the value of superior customer service. They both appreciate every opportunity to relax with friends and family, enjoy beautiful Colorado and travel as much as possible.
Dr. Herzog demonstrates sincerity, integrity and genuine care with each of her patients. She prides herself on taking time with each patient in order to base her treatment plan on their individual situations and long-term goals. She believes in investing time in her patients and the Castle Rock community. She thrives on continued learning, teaching and striving to provide the best medical care. You will find her at many events with the Castle Rock and Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce, volunteering at many local events and competing in local races such as E-Rock.
Laura Zagrocki, DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Zagrocki obtained her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After spending time working as a patent engineer in Milwaukee, WI, she returned to school and attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA to receive her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Dr. Zagrocki completed her 3-year foot and ankle surgical residency at KentuckyOne Health/University of Louisville in Louisville, KY.
Dr. Zagrocki is originally from Griffith, IN and is joining her family who has relocatedto Colorado over the past few years. She enjoys spending her free time beingactive with her husband, Matt, doing things outdoors including running, biking, snowboarding, and hiking. She is happy to be in Colorado to enjoy these activities. Dr. Zagrocki also enjoys reading, trying new recipes, tutoring elementary school students, and spending time with her 120 lb. lapdog, Mason.
Dr. Zagrocki believes that listening to her patients and getting to know their current and desired activity level is the first step towards treatment. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, especially pediatric patients. A focus of Dr. Zagrocki’s 3-year residency included pediatric orthopedic training. Whether you are an elite athlete or someone who just wants to comfortably get around your house and neighborhood, Dr. Zagrocki is willing to take the time to help you overcome your foot and ankle limitations. She also will focus on the prevention of problems once resolution is achieved to avoid future pain and injury.
Kelly Marsh- Office Manager
Kelly Marsh received her B.S. from Illinois State University, where she studied Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. She worked in the graphic design field for 15 years before she decided to pursue a career in the administrative medical field.
While she enjoyed her time as a graphic designer, she found her true calling working and interacting with patients on a daily basis. After eight years of front-office responsibilities, she was promoted to Office Manager and Marketing Director. You will often see Kelly out in our community, as she is very philanthropic. She is president of her Castle Rock High Noon Rotary Club and is a member of The Greater Castle Rock Art Guild. Her giving personality shines through with our patients as well. Their well-being is her first priority.
Kelly moved to Colorado in 2000 from a brief stay on the East coast, and before that, from where she was raised in Illinois. Colorado is a destination state for her and she enjoys taking advantage of all the state has to offer. When she’s not at the office, she spends time volunteering for charities, doing photography and spending time with her friends and two daughters.
Erin Braun- Medical Assistant
Erin Keith graduated from ThunderRidge High School in 2009, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Wanting to pursue a career in the medical field, she decided to attend Anthem College in Aurora, Colorado. Graduating as a Medical Assistant Alpha Beta Kappa with high honors, she completed her externship at a Concentra Urgent Care. For the future, Erin is continuing her education to pursue a career as a Physician's Assistant.
As the medical assistant for both Dr. Zagrocki and Dr. Herzog, Erin is pleased to know every patient at Castle Rock Foot and Ankle Care. Her passion for her work can be seen in her ability to recall each patient’s needs and in her innate desire to go above and beyond to see those needs met. Having been with the practice since 2011, Erin has an extensive knowledge base that allows her to extend the best possible care. Her compassionate personality puts our patients at ease, welcoming both existing and new people into our office every day. She is a vital asset to our team, benefiting patients and coworkers alike!
Along with being a Medical Assistant, Erin enjoys being outside and staying healthy with her husband, Hank. In her free time, she runs and hikes with her rescued dog, Berkley, from the Castle Rock Dumb Friends League. She loves what Colorado has to offer and is going to keep the state her permanent home.
Amanda Pratt- Front Office
Amanda Pratt recently graduated from the University of Colorado with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. After the completion of her master’s degree, she hopes to pursue a career in social work. Having moved a lot in the last few years, Amanda is happy to be back home in the greater Denver area with her husband. This allows for her to spend time with her friends and growing extended family. In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, crafting, and other art projects.
Amanda does a great job of triaging and finding out exactly what each patient needs, and she has knowledge in each area of our office. She is extremely welcoming and strives to keep all of our patients on time by being incredibly thorough with organization, time management and remaining calm throughout the work day. She is an extremely optimistic person, and patients enjoy that quality, as she is the first and last face they encounter in our practice.
Laura Duncan- Licensed Advanced Pedicurist and Natural Nail Manicurist
Laura graduated from Trinidad state college in 2008, where she received her manicuring certificate. Laura is a highly skilled professional. Laura's continuous mission is to provide each person with a professional one-on-one experience, by creating a positive and peaceful setting where you can be pampered while taking a break from the outside world. These therapeutic services focus on the health of hands and feet, beauty being the end result.
Laura is a native of Colorado. Family and traditions are very important to her. She enjoys cooking family dinners and entertaining along with her husband, Joe. When they are not in the kitchen, they are spending time with their four adult children, hiking with their three dogs or starting a new project in their home.
